Hubfleet EWD: Managing Driver Fatigue and Compliance Made Easy

Hubfleet EWD is a user-friendly Electronic Work Diary designed specifically for heavy vehicle drivers. It aims to help drivers meet their fatigue compliance requirements in accordance with NHVR and WA rules. With Hubfleet, drivers can reduce the stress of compliance by maintaining accurate digital records, increase productivity, minimize the risk of accidental non-compliance, and save money by reducing paperwork.

Hubfleet covers all NHVR rule sets, including Standard Solo, Standard Two-up, BFM Solo, BFM Two-up, Exemption hours, and Custom AFM rules. It also includes the WA rule sets for Solo and Two-up drivers. Additionally, there is an optional telematics package available.

The Hubfleet EWD app is available on iOS devices, making it convenient for drivers to use their own devices or install it on company devices fixed to the truck. Drivers can download the app for free and register to start using it. Fleet managers or owner drivers can create a "Record Keeper" account on the Hubfleet web portal and invite drivers to connect using their mobile phone number. Record keepers pay a monthly fee for each connected driver. All records created by the driver are updated in real-time and can be accessed via the web portal.

If a driver makes a mistake in their diary, they can easily correct it. During a shift, a driver has the ability to create, edit, or delete any record. They can even delete the entire shift if needed. However, when ending a shift, the driver must sign off on the driver declaration by entering their secret 4-digit pin. After this is entered, records for that shift cannot be edited, as required by the NHVR.
